Sandeep is a Singapore based Singer, Songwriter and Composer. He sings in many Indian languages most notably in Hindi, Bengali and Oriya. Sandeep is a versatile singer and sings Bollywood Songs, Ghazals, Bhajans, semi-classical nos. He has been singing since the age of six. During his college days he regularly performed in musical bands.
Achievements in music-
He first took his classical music lessons at the age of 25 under Ms Nivedita Dutta. Around the same time he took part in a major musical contest in Bangalore and he was adjudged the "Best Male Singer" in 1996. During this time he recorded two songs in a music Album. Between 1997 to 2006, Sandeep was not active in music. Since 2006 he has been learning classical music under Mrs. Kalyani Puranik at the Temple of Fine Arts. He has performed as a lead Singer for musical productions "Taal Express", "Water", and "Damaru" and also participated in the Singapore Arts Festival.
He has performed in various musical programmes in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia. In 2012 Sandeep produced his first Solo Album "Khwab" which is written, composed and sung by him. He also has two Bengali albums "Birohi Papiha Bole (Nazrul Songs)" and "Samarpan" (Rabindra Sangeet). He has previously sung in a Oriya album "Tume Mo Rati Tume Mo Dino".
Academic and professional career-
Sandeep also has an outstanding academic and professional career. He has Unique experience of working in multi-nationals, government organization, & Start-ups. He has previously worked with IBM, Apar Infotech, KIOCL, etc. He is currently Managing Director of Flexione Pte Limited - a multimillion dollar services firm company which he started in 2002.
Sandeep has a Masters Degree in Personnel Management and Labour Welfare from Utkal University with a First Class First rank (Gold Medal) and Bachelors degree in Statistics Honours with a third rank in the University. He has also pursued HR and Management courses in continuing studies arm of Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley. He has co-authored CCH Publications "HR Strategies in Asia". He is also the Secretary of the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA).Indiase - April 2012
